Introductory Wingboarding

Recently added in 2024, the Introductory Wingboarding class is designed for beginners, and acts as the base for the subsequent courses that further develop your skills in this exciting new sport.

Two versions of this class are currently offered:

Intro Wingboarding is designed with a condensed (1-day) format tailored to individuals with prior experience windsurfing. Windsurfing experience is required for this class. Please call our office at 650-965-7474 before registering,if you are unsure of whether or not you qualify for this class.

Beginner Wingboarding utilizes an expanded (2-day) curriculum geared towards individuals with no prior experience in boardsports.

Prerequisites: Students must be comfortable swimming and treading water. For the 1-day Intro Wingboarding course, prior experience windsurfing is required.

What to Bring

Students should bring comfortable clothes, a bathing suit to wear under the wetsuit, a jacket or fleece, a towel, lots of sun protection, a lanyard to secure their glasses around their heads, a reusable water bottle, and shoes or sandals that can be worn in the water (such as water shoes/aqua socks or Keen sandals).

Important: Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your class to check in.
